Matthew Clarke recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Conducting from Messiah College. He also holds a degree from Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Spartan Marching Band, playing tenor drums. While studying conducting, Mr. Clarke has had the privilege to conduct the University of Michigan Wind Ensemble, the Eastern Michigan University Wind Ensemble, the Eastern Michigan University Symphonic Band, the Messiah College Wind Ensemble, and most recently the Sinfóníuhljómsveit Áhugamanna Orchestra in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Mr. Clarke is also a founding member and percussionist for Star FK Radium, a violin, guitar and percussion trio. Star FK Radium has released two albums with CD sales in the United States, Canada, Brazil, South Korea, Australia, China and Europe.
A native of Michigan, Mr. Clarke is currently living in College Park, Maryland.
